We are inviting you to come along for the personal rides and adventures that we have been exploring for the last 4 years in Nicaragua. We look for routes that offer authentic paths to arrive at our daily destinations. On the 7 day tour you will meet locals, have countless roadside stops, taste local food, live the culture, see and hear history, be self-reliant and live simply.

NICA HIGHLAND TOUR

Without giving too much away, through the highlands of Nicaragua you will see volcanoes, fields of sugar cane, peanuts, rice, windy roads, remote villages, river crossings, lakes, beautiful shady trees, coffee, tobacco, pine forests, farms, waterfalls, and countless misty mountain views.

MOTORCYCLES

We ride local 200cc motorcycles because the parts are abundant and every mechanic can work on them. This is confidence inspiring, especially in the remote parts of the country. As a point of reference, the speed limit on Nicaraguan highways is 80km/hour (49.7 mph) and most of the dirt roads will be traveled at no more than 60km/h (37mph).

The genesis sx1 200 is a lightweight dual sport that has a larger engine than the average motorcycle in Nicaragua and is more than adequate in power for the type of roads in the country.
