What motorcycle gear should I bring?
We provide a 40 liter dry bag and 16 liters of basic panniers (8 liters/ side). You will bring your own motorcycle gear (helmet, jacket, pants, boots and gloves). We recommend riding gear for cool mountain to tropical climates (55-95F).
*If you need a helmet please contact us.
What kind of roads will we ride?
About a third of the routes we ride, will be on dirt roads. These roads are not very difficult but in bad weather they can be challenging. Off-road experience is definitely recommended and will make your week much more comfortable.
What are the riding requirements?
You should be in good physical condition, have some dirt road riding experience, expect to be part of a team and have a motorcycle license.
How much money should I bring?
Rough estimate is USD$300 pocket change for food, drink, souvenirs, optional excursions and incidentals.
Who will be on my tour?
Two motorcycle riding hosts will guide you (minimum of 4 riders) on a 7 day adventure through remote areas of Nicaragua. There is no support vehicle. The group will ride as a team and resolve any problems along the way.
